Microsoft moved quickly in the mobile segment, this after the giant reportedly rumored to be showing off the Windows operating system that is devoted to the tablet.
After Microsoft announced Windows Mobile 7.5 update, known as Mango, they prepare to bring the tablet version of Windows OS next week, in an event that has been prepared.
However, Microsoft is reluctant to comment on such rumors. Especially after other newspapers said, the OS for the tablet will be holding a microprocessor Tegra.
Microsoft is a competitor of Apple currently dominates the tablet PC market, selling 7.5 million iPad since its debut in April and the end of September. Market researcher Strategy Analytics predicts that Apple currently holds 95 percent of the tablet computer market.
However, tablet computers running Google’s Android operating system is expected to be the foremost leading competitor in the near future. The alliance with ARM could help Microsoft catch up on the mobile device market.
